Bonfire Permit?
Do you need a charter to have a bonfire at Coronado seaside?
What beaches within San Diego request permits for bonfires and which beach dont?

i dont know just about the others but at Coronado you dont. i went at hand just this monday and have a bonfire and nobody asked me for a permit.
Call the fire dept surrounded by what ever town you want to have the bonfire within, they have different permit possess. In our town we don't allow open fires except 5pm - 8am unless its raining or snow on the ground.
I dont believe you need one but you obligation to keep it surrounded by the fire ring. But if you go to the website timetabled below and look at each individual shoreline it will tell you which one does allow fires and which one doesnt
