What town should i look within for acceptable priced places to live around the LA nouns?
Two friends of mine and I are planning on moving to California in close to 4 or so months, and i was wondering if in that is any city/town around Los Angeles that is comfortable living and modest priced? and please i know your thinking i have no opinion because im from Maine, and you can be right to a point but i believe all 3 of us want it desperate enough to be nearby. so whatever proposal anyone can give me give or take a few places to live, or jobs i would appreciate it.

Not unless you want to live surrounded by an really rough neigborhood where you safekeeping would be a primary concern. Try other cities in California. (Sacramento, for example).
With 3 of you, you should be capable of afford a pretty nice place. I live in Long Beach, and can report to you parts of it are bad, but here are good spots here too. I live smaller quantity than 2 blocks from the beach within a 2 bedroom with a roommate, and foot $1195 a month (split in partly is $597.50, very affordable for me). I'm moving into my own place on Tuesday, since my roommate bought a house, and am going to pay envelope $800 a month.
There are areas of Los Angeles that are very expensive, owning a home is also out of the sound out for most people unless you buy a condo within the ghetto. Ultimately, decide what the three of you similar to to do, like to be to hand, what kind of nightlife you close to, whether or not you're going to school, consequently come up with a more detailed cross-question. Try looking surrounded by Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena, La Crescenta, and Montrose...all past the worst areas to live in. Rents can compass..but you can probably find something reasonable (especially if you enjoy roommates) if you look hard plenty. You might also want to look in the Inland Empire (further west of L.A.) contained by cities such as Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, Claremont, Ontario.
Everyone who comes here is looking for the "cheap, clean, and safe". It's adjectives about supply and emergency: If it's in SoCal, after it's not going to be cheap to begin beside. If it's clean and undisruptive, then it's more expensive. If you stipulation good school, add a couple hundred bucks a month lying on it.
If you want to live here and enjoy the weather, after you have to wages for it. You put up with the smog and the traffic, savour the weather and pay your rent or mortgage.
"LA" is such a big place, within are so many neighborhoods/cities where on earth you can live. Of course, even within a city or neighborhood, at hand are safer sections and less-safe section.
In Los Angeles, some nice sections are West LA, Brentwood, Westwood, Marina Del Rey, Playa Del Rey, Los Feliz, Silverlake, Eagle Rock, Encino, Tarzana, Studio City, Toluca Lake, Granada Hills, Woodland Hills, Sherman Oaks, West Hills, Chatsworth.
To the east: South Pasadena, parts of Pasadena, Altadena, Arcadia, Monrovia, Glendora, San Dimas, Laverne, Azusa, Rancho Cucamonga.
Along the sand: Santa Monica, Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Torrance, Palos Verdes, Rancho PV.
In Orange County aka "The OC": Seal Beach , Huntington Beach , Newport Beach , Corona Del Mar , Laguna Beach , Dana Point , Capistrano Beach , San Clemente , Brea, Yorba Linda, Orange, Tustin, Irvine, Laguna Hills, Rancho Santa Margarita, Lake Forest
To the west: Agoura, Calabasas, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Simi Valley, Moorpark.
This is not an all-inclusive list, but it's a start.
If you want to find "sensibly priced", don't expect anything really close to Metro stations unless its in South L.A. Plan for something surrounded by the suburbs (i.e. Asuza, Rosemead, Gardena, etc.) without possible metro access and 100% car dependence. Those are the empire who think L.A. is adjectives about traffic. If you want to spend more (which I heavily recommend, if nought more, but for quality of enthusiasm!), find something in Hollywood, Pasadena, Downtown, North Hollywood, Long Beach, etc... where on earth Metro rail is available, convenient, and nontoxic.
I would suggest that you come for a months leave and see as much as you can then shift home and move a year from now.
