If anything it would be the East and South sides, more crime
But an area call "Allied Drive" is the big one. There's a lot of nouns, shootings, robberies, etc. that happen around nearby.
But other than that, Madison is relatively dutiful.
Not sure there are any discouraging areas, not like within Chicago.

Its a college town its pretty much of an overall nice place you just enjoy to watch out for fruitless people not fruitless areas bad those go to the worthy places .You have to mind your Ps and Qs wherever you budge doesn't matter
