Wich are the best wineries to stop by contained by Napa? The most representative, the most interesting, romantic, etc. ?
Answers:
though I don't really care for the wine itself, lacking a doubt the one that most represents napa is Robert Mondavi Winery. Mondavi really put napa on the map in expressions of world wide wine admission. They have fantastic tours.
Domaine Carneros is great for bubbly. They hold a wonderful tour and do a nice wine tasting on the outside porch overy looking the napa valley. Very romantic at sunset.
Schramsberg, though pricey at $40 per character, is a great cave tour. Again one of the classical places contained by the valley. primarily bubbly beside some still red wine. Currently the sparkling wine of the white house.
For interesting Hess collection, mumm and clo pegase all hold great art collections ranging from impressionist to photography.
And for lately plain fun, sterling vineyards have a gondola to ride up to the top.
Which wineries are best is really a judgement call and depends on what you are interested surrounded by.
Some of the notable ones (in my opinion) are:
Hess Collection - This wine producer is outside of Napa in the hill in a pretty wooded nouns. The wines are great and the unique article about this wine producer is the free modern art museum. If you go, check out the flaming typewriter.
Silver Oak - Located within Oakville, this small winery is one of the top Cabernet Sauvignon producers and they specialize contained by making JUST ONE Napa Valley Cab each year. Their cabernet is fabulous...but costs $99 a bottle. The ending time I visited you could soft spot for $10 and it included the glass. If you wallow in cab, I'd recommend this place.
St. Supery - They own lots of wines and an interesting visitor center.
Sterling - This chateau is located in Calistoga. The tram ride to the top of the mound where the taste room is located makes this a incomparable stop. Once in the taste room, you are seated and servers bring the wine to you at your table.
Domaine Carneros - Outside Napa in the Carneros region, this estate has the best landscape of all the wineries. You sit outside on the porch overlooking Napa Valley, relax, and enjoy person served sparkling wine and cheese plates.
Wine tasting within Napa can be expensive. Be sure to take assistance of the free wine tasting coupons available at the website tabled below.

Beringer.
I have a personal affront to Mondavi, so I do not suggest that one.
I also approaching Simi, but you really can't go wrong near almost any winery near
We recently traveled in that and absolutely LOVED the tour we took form Platypus Wine tours because they took us to THE best wineries that we have never heard of! Of course, we are adjectives familiar near Beringer, Mondavi, KJ, Silver Oak (although we DO love that one!)-but the tour took us to the lesser certain but not lesser trait wineries. Silverado-great wines, great friendly & casual taste room, INCREDIBLE views! Next up be probably all our ALL time fav for most interesting, but still high characteristic wines-Casa Nuestra Winery in St Helena. DO NOT leave behind this one up-a great picnicing spot next to the resident two goats (who also reside on one of their labels) and THE most unconcerned, fun winery you will ever find...a great break from adjectives the pretentiousness that somehow finds its way up within! Casa Nuestra was the solely winery we bought a strong views to and have kept because you will not know how to find it anywhere but there! Last stop be St. Supery-very quaint & charming outdated house on an incredibly beautiful chateau, and of course-outstanding wine! We would really reccommend all of these, but for the most "unique" experience unambiguously try Casa Nuestra-you'll love it! As one of our fellow tourers stated-"that was so fun, they must be growing something save for just grapes in attendance!"
