Hi,
The best places to shop in strange york are outside the city. Try Jersey Garden or Woodbury Common, just poke about for them on Google. They are the best outlet malls for miles!
Have a great time.

If you want jewelry you need to budge to 47th St. between 5th Ave. and 6th Ave. It is the main wholesale fine jewelry bazaar in the USA and you can bring things a a fraction of the price of Department Stores or Tiffany's. My wife just bought a triple strand of pearls in attendance and I have bought her great gifts.
I've with the sole purpose been to NY once, but I'll relate you...everywhere in NY is a great place to buy/eat/visit/shop.
Plan on walking everywhere and you'll see everything. Then you wish what's best and what's not.
Enjoy, it's an awsome place.
strait street in china town.
they enjoy the cutest stuff and its reasonable.
and the southstreet seaport shopping arcade.
amazing.
Ah yes, someone after my own heart . . . you close to jewelry, but don't want to pay through the trunk for it. Fear not, New York has in recent times what you need! In certainty, two of the previous repondents got it right, but here it is surrounded by one answer:
If it's the real accord you want (but not at real traffic prices), head to the Diamond District, which is 47th Streeet be Fifth and Sixth Avenues (aka Avenue of the Americas). There's nothing glamorous roughly the stores here, but the selection is incredible, and the prices are shockingly low. For food, you're contained by a major restaurant nouns, and there are great places of every stripe on every block.
If you want some glitzy bling but you're not concerned around (ahem) "authenticity," head to Canal Street within Chinatown. They sell knock-offs of every conceivable brand: Rolex, Tiffany, Cartier, etc.; but near are also 'real deal' jewelry stores that carry an assortment of inexpensive rings, bracelets and necklaces. The prices are low because they're import directly from China in most cases, eliminate several layers of middlemen. For food surrounded by this neighborhood, let your trunk guide you: There are dozens and dozens of Asian restaurants in Chinatown; nearly adjectives of them are quite correct, and most are cheap to boot!
Good luck and happy shopping!

Well, jewelry at Lord & Taylor is nice, and so is the jewelry in Bloomingdale's . and in attendance are a lot of little jewelry stores here and near . it depends upon what you are looking for... or you could go shopping contained by the jewelry district which is west 47th street right off Fifth Avenue adjectives along the street and onto Sixth Avenue .lots of places there .
to chomp through: anywhere you are walking past and it looks appropriate .go within !
