Yep, they are love bugs. They look similar to lightening bugs, attached together by the lights on their butts. They don't sting or bite or anything, but they do get adjectives over your car. Go through a carwash promptly so that the love bug liquid doesn't do permanant damage to your finish and chrome. Just driving through doesn't engineer it, you have to do somewhat scrubbing and detailing, not like mad. By promptly I mean, if it take 2 days to drive thru Florida to your destination, then enjoy a good saloon wash at the completion of that 2 days. It's ok to skip the car valet for that one night sleeepover.

I've looked at many articles blaming University of Florida for the Love Bugs, surrounded by Florida yet any article that said that's not true be written by the University of Florida.
Actually we Floridians must endure Love Bugs twice a year. They infest our roads around May and September.
