Have a great time!
You will definitlely want to check the weather. The weather is usually mild within October, but last year we get a very cold snap, and the year formerly we had a boil wave. So check the weather and be prepared. In October, you could wear shorts during the daytime if it's warm, but it usually cools rotten quickly surrounded by the evening. List:
Sunscreen is a must
Water bottles. It just kill me to pay $3 for a bottle of hose down when I can get a undamaged case at Costco for that much.
Advil, Tylenol, or equivalent
Camera- Take lots of photos
Sweat shirt or lighting jacket for the evening
Money: Most places take plastic. You'll involve cash for the pushcart vendors, if you want something from them. Like a churro.
You can rob a backpack, but I have found that a fanny pack near water bottle holsters is a bit less bulky. I flip the pack around to the other side when I move about on rides, or just appropriate it off and put it on the floor of the ride. I've never have it fall past its sell-by date yet.
Be sure to phone 714-781-DINE to make reservations for sit-down dining, especially if you want to splurge at the Blue Bayou. It save a potentially long wait.
Wear long pants, comfy shoes and a t-shirt will probably be fine during the morning, check the weather before you turn. Carry a sweat shirt or light jacket it will be chilly surrounded by the mornings and evenings.
Things to bring.
Sunscreen
Any meds you need to cart
pain killer (aspirin/Tylenol
Antacids (tums/Rolaids)
Anti diarrhea (You dont want your trip ruined because of a headache or tummy ache due to food your impracticable to or overstimulation)
Camera+batteries+film or flash cards (these are expensive in the parks)
Baby wipe and waterless hand cleaner
Sweat shirt of hurricane lantern jacket
Money
Carry a couple of water bottles next to you also, drinks are a bit pricey.
Friends or family
I fetch a backpack, you can rent a locker but then you enjoy to go win stuff from the locker if you want it. You will have to travel through security so I recommend a backpack next to as few pockets as possible, put everything in ziplock loads to keep it dry, together and so payment can see what you have in need a bunch of stuff all over the place.
Some other items I hold heard associates take, generally at Walt Disney World where its humid adjectives the time.
Change of shoes/socks
extra shirt
Small deoderant
Like I said check the weather before you stir, get a 10 sunshine forcast at www.weather.com weather should be pleasant during the day, cooler contained by the mornings and after dark, especially if you sit for a display or fireworks you can get chilly. There is other a chance of rainfall but its not that common, you can catch a cheap poncho at walmart, the crowds get prety table lamp if it rains.
