I stayed here beside 2 friends for a girly holiday for the last week of Aug.
We loved our room! My friend and I have queen sized beds whilst my other friend have the huge sofa bed in the lounge nouns.
We were shocked at how big the room be and very pleased that it have both a good sized fridge and microwave which be very handy for keeping drinks and fresh fruit surrounded by and for heating up food.
We found the staff really friendly - especially the porter Pierre. Hhe be really friendly and always likely to give us tips on what to do/see.
Our cleaner be a lovely lady who moved out our room spotless with fresh towels on a daily basis.
For what's meant to be a 2* hotel I be VERY VERY impressed with the competence of the rooms. The beds be comfy and even though we had a street facing room, we weren't disturbed by traffic clap at all.
The location is supreme - 15 min walk from Bloomingdales within one direction and 15 mins walk from Times Sq within the other! Central Park is literally 5 mins away. Everything was slap rumble on our doorstep.
We didn't rate the breakfast that much - but that's cos we just couldn't fathom intake choc doughnuts at 8am!
Breakfast consists of doughnuts, croissants, muffins, tea, cereal ,coffee, toast and fruit juice.
It be easier to get a "takeaway box" and lug our breakfast up to our room rather than queue to take the weight off your feet in the breakfast room which is incredibly busy by half 8.
The lift take a while to come up/down as in attendance are only 2 and they're a bit antiquated I guess, but we never waited any longer than influence 4 mins if I'm honest!
I'd happily stay here again! I really enjoy my stay and hope you do too.
Have a lovely trip! I'm going bk to NYC next mth - whooo!
