What do I inevitability to give somebody a lift for a weekend trip to Chicago?
I am going to Chicago for the first time this Valentine’s weekend to visit my boyfriend who is doing some work within. He says it is enormously cold there. I want to be prepared.

Coat, gloves, hat, scarf, boots, sweater. You'll be fine beside that stuff. It's supposed to be in the mid to upper 30s, so it won't be that discouraging, comparatively speaking (it was surrounded by the single digits a few days ago). if you're coming from a warm-weather climate it will be a bit of a shock, but you'll get used to it without delay.
Winter coat, scarf for your neck, gloves or mittens, hood, socks, boots. Yeah winter is fun.

You'll conspicuously want a nice pair of boots that you don't mind getting ruined because the saline on the sidewalks will really take a toll on them. Make sure your pant aren't too long either if not they'll get snow adjectives over them too. Then just bundle up near a coat, hat, scarf, and gloves/mittens. If you're going to be outside for a long length of time, then wear layer, like tights lower than your pants, and be sure to tie a scarf around your obverse. Enjoy, it's been messy these historic few days. :-)
