How Do I go and get to NYC from Clifton, NJ?
So I'm staying at this hotel here: http://www.lq.com/lq/properties/property...
My question is this, how, using mass transportation and cheaply can I achieve in and out of NYC? I'm looking for what would work the best. Please do hang on to in mind this is a road trip so I WILL hold a car available to my buddy and I so if near are any park and rides that would be a plus. I'm also curious as to getting in and out of NYC at any time. It pends on the transportation but I would similar to to stay late into the hours of darkness in NYC some of the night and come back some what frequently to the hotel to drop stuff sour. Any help at adjectives is greatly appreciated! Thank you so much! :)

sry didn't even read the cross-examine to long... :p
There are two train stations within Clifton, but I think that they any use permit parking or if its a weekday, parking is predetermined. You may want to try the station at Montclair State University. Get on Route 3 heading west, route 3 will merge with 46 West and from near you'll see the sign for the station (its the second exit once you merge with 46...also speckled as a U-Turn). There's a train station there near a parking garage. Last time I went , parking be $3 for the day, train ticket be $5.75. Its direct to NY Penn Station depending on the time you get on (sometimes you enjoy to transfer at Newark).

The solitary problem with NJ Transit, is that trains dont usually run that behind time, so if you're trying to stay clubbing, you may have a problem getting vertebrae to the hotel.
Now, since you also want to make frequent trips stern and forth to hotel, to drop stuff off, you may want to consider driving to any Hoboken or Weehawken and taking the ferry. I know that they hold parking, and you can leave stuff contained by the car if you'd resembling, or drive to hotel and back again depending on what your desires are. Depending on what part of Manhattan you're going to, is where on earth you would take the carry from...if you're going mid-town, Weehawken is best.downtown, World Trade Center area, Hoboken is best.

And logically.buses always run and your hotel should be capable of tell you which is bus is best and closest.
If you're staying delayed one nite to club, then I would drive surrounded by and pay for a parking garage...it can be a bit expensive, but better than have to wait a few hours because you missed the second bus, train etc, unless you don't mind waiting.
Hope I helped!
easy clifton have two train stations
one is Delawanna and one is Clifton. go to the njtransit.com net site.
Delawanna used to be peak solitary and no weekend.
Both are very voluminous parking lots.
So you get the train to the Secaucus Jct. station next transfer to the NY bound train that will step to Penn Station or Madison Square Garden.
Maybe 45 minutes one way. And njt.com will own the fare as wel..
Easy one.
good luck
NJ Transit Trains are probably your best bet.
Make sure you watch the rota, I think they run until in the region of 2AM.
If you want to get to lower Manhattan, I'd clutch NJT to Newark Penn Station and then switch to the PATH over in that, otherwise take the NJT to New York Penn and turn pretty much anywhere from Penn Station.
Go to Google Maps.
Then type in your from and to destination.
It will convey you exactly how to get nearby by car.
