Things to do surrounded by Kansas City?
So, my father, brother and I are going to Kansas City for the weekend and I was lately wondering what kinds of things near are to do there?
I dont want us to simply be sitting around looking at each other for the integral time.
What kinds of museums, restaurants, and other things that don't cost toooo much money?
gratefulness!

Which weekend?
The Plaza Art Fair is next weekend. Also check out kansascity.com
Are you going to KC Missouri or KC Kansas. If MO try the Plaza.
Just use the links others hold provided. KC has lots to do and see. Try the BBQ for sure. The Plaza is handsome, and the fountains there are true works of art. KC is a hopping town, in that will be no sitting.
Check out the Nelson-Atkins Museum of art- Asian, Egyptian, Euopean, American etc. much to see- great place for lunch too inside called Rozelle Court-
The City bazaar is fun on Sat. morning and there is a concert within this Sat. nite- ZZ top
The Plaza is a lot of fun for shopping and dining- fine fountains too
KC is famous for Bar B Q- try Arthur Bryants! Have fun
There are a lot of things to do contained by Kansas City.
Up north of the river you have Worlds of fun and Oceans of fun. Coming up here soon, Worlds of fun will be have their Halloween Weekend thing.
You also enjoy the zoo. I haven't been nearby, but you also have Starlight Theater. That is really cool to turn and watch a play.
For food, on the plaza, you enjoy the Cheesecake Factory(fairly expensive), or if you are in the mood for fondue, you can stir to the melting pot(also relatively expensive.)
You also have Crown Center. If you travel in the winter, you hold ice skating. In Crown Center, you can guzzle a Fritz's. It's a burger joint where on earth little trains running along the ceiling deliver your food. It's really cool.
Right now you also own the two haunted houses open if you are surrounded by the mood for scary.
You enjoy "The Beast" and "The Edge of Hell" (That's the real mark, sry if it offends anyone!)
All within all, here are lots of things to do here!
If you need anything else, you can e-mail me!
Hope you own fun!
theres not much to do in kansas. i own family in attendance so i usually just dance chill with them. but its a tradition to travel to twisters for us. its a little frozen yogurt place where on earth you go to the pane and they have THE BEST frozen yogurt.
and great hotdogs too. its foremost in kansas. so i bet you can ask anyone and they'll know where on earth it is. [:
I love the Crown Center. They also hold how they make hallmark cards within. I can't think of the term of it but it's free.

This has lots of touristy things.
Don't forget World of Fun, Nelson Atkins Museum, Harry S. Truman Library, stir shopping on the Plaza.
You have to hold BBQ. You can do the big guys like Gates, Arthur Bryant's, Jackstack, but don't pay no attention to the little guys that have not gone general. I guarantee that the way we touch about BBQ, those little BBQ joint would not be there if the food be not worthy.
Katatonia at the Static Bar on Sunday
Go to the Plaza, which is in Kansas City, Missouri or Westport contained by Kansas City Missouri. Another fun shopping and entertainment area is the Legends which is contained by Kansas City Kansas.
Have fun, there's tons to do here.
Well, it's Monday, so if you haven't made it here yet, don't forget just about the Kansas City Renaissance Festival. It's located in Bonner Springs, KS, close by the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. Don't forget to try one of the famous Turkey Legs!
