Moving from the East Coast to San Diego? How far away is San Diego from LA?
So I live on the East Coast.. Maryland to be exact. And I am moving to the West Coast... California. I was thinking more of moving contained by the San Diego area. I own already done research about the nouns and so forth and I should be visiting to find a clothed place to stay soon. I am still left beside some questions. What are some surrounding cities? How far is LA from San Diego? Also, I am contained by my early 20's. What brand of night time is there and are nearby any decent colleges within the area?
Any information on San Diego will do. =) Its newly very different moving to a unharmed new state and not knowing where on earth ANYTHING is.

I in recent times moved from Boston and I live in Ocean Beach. Let me detail you it is fun, but EXPENSIVE. Unless you have a profession lined up that pays $45-55,000 a year I recommend abiding up for a year or 2 before going. I lately graduated and found a commission that pays 35,000 and in no route can I afford to live here. But the Mexican food is excellent and the people are extraordinarily friendly, I'd highly recommend moving here if you hold a good paying situation.
LA is about 2 hours away. Traffic is the big issue. If nearby is an accident, attach 30-60 minutes to travel time. Orange County is about 90 minutes.
San Diego is much nicer after LA. It's cooler in summer and space heater in winter. The nouns is cleaner and the traffic isn't as bad. LA is sprawl.
college= SDSU, univercity of san diego, or any Jr. College..
cities= Chula Vista,Santee, El Cajon, Ocean Beach,Pacific Beach, Coronado,
Nightlife= downtown, gas light district, any place at the coast
couple hours to LA.
San Diego is where I would live if I have the chance!
Its really nice weather- lots to do.

LA is in that for a weekend- also La Joya, etc.
I think its one of the prettiest places within the US.

SD is great but very different from the east coast. There are lots of colleges around. Nightlife is down town and contained by beach cities along to coast. A fully clad apartment will run you around $1500 a month. You will soon learn that LA is not the glamorous place you own seen on TV and contained by magazines it is a giant sprawling crap-hole you will not be capable of get out of nifty enough. And you MUST own a car or your natural life will be a living hell. Even with a a saloon traffic will make your time a living hell. During rush hour you will be able to drive around 15 miles an hour making for really long commutes if you inevitability to be anywhere. Most area you will be capable of afford will be crappy and most people living within those crappy areas are not from San Diego they are surfers from places like Wisconsin trying to live their belief of a California life style. Totally lame... and anyways be pretty much full.. if you can convice someone else to leave your more than response to come. :)
