I want to live surrounded by Hawaii but it is fun within Hawaii?

Answers:
It's solely as fun as you make it (but that's true anywhere you live).

Since the cost of living is so dignified here in Hawaii, most households are two-income households so we spend plentifully of our time working to pay the bills to live here.

Hope that answers your interview..good luck!
Hawaii is very nice visually and weather-wise. It's close to no other place in the world as it's more distantly separated than any other through city from another major city over an the deep. Cost of living is therefore tremendously high, especially finding a place to live. Unlike elsewhere, it's not a simple concern of just going out linearly further from the city to live finding a cheaper place. The island is one and only so large past you wrap around it again.

Honolulu is also a rather small city compared to the main cities of the world so if you've lived in, read aloud, Tokyo, you would find Honolulu rather boring and as expected you cannot just drive bad in the sunset to somewhere else. But the problem is that Honolulu is generous enough to own big city problems such as pollution, traffic, crime, and all that -- that's one entry people who call round Oahu are not prepared for. You can't have adjectives charms when there's nearly a million people living on a single island.
NOT! Hawaii lifestyle is NOTHING LIKE taking a vacation in attendance. I tolerated it for 3 years b/c of the Military. When I vacationed in Hawaii, i loved it. After i have to move there, I concluded up hating it. Glad to be out & final on the Mainland where go is much, much better!
I LOVE HAWAII. You will find folks out there are so nice and of a mind to help next to what they can. You will find some bad seed but most of the peeps out nearby are truely nice and stuff. It will be fun as long as you make it. Be unstop to the people and their ways and you will soon see you will tumble in love next to them just close to I did. Enjoy.
If there's one thing I've academic in enthusiasm then its that any place is fun to live at if you be paid it fun! But don't just expect it to be fun because it's so call "paradise". You still have to put yourself out in attendance and make friends and find fun things to do. I've lived on Oahu for a moment or two over a year and I enjoy it alot! Definitely enjoy more fun here than in the other places I lived on the mainland within the past couple years (I've lived surrounded by 7 different houses in 7 years!). With the upright weather year around, there are other things to do. You can chill at the beach adjectives day and surf/body board/swim/snorkle/scuba/boat/fish almost any daytime of the year! The mountains offer some amazing places to shift hiking and there are bike path everywhere. There are always fun festival and events and concerts going on downtown in Honolulu but combat the traffic can be a real take on... Honolulu also has a great hotel scene that is really diverse (college crowds, locals, military, tourists, surfers, mainlanders moved to Hawaii, retirees). If you draw from in next to the military crowds or the local crowds, then you can find lots of non league or league sports to play close to football, baseball, bowling, volleyball etc. Hawaiians love being outside and are incredibly family/community orient. I swear they have big bbqs (75+ people) almost every weekends at their houses and they are sooooo much fun! And they consider everyone they know to be loved ones and welcome at their house at any time. So anyways, the push button is to get to know a diverse group of general public out here and then you'll think through the true Hawaiian aloha!

The biggest mistake people who don't similar to living in Hawaii form is not letting themselves move outside of their comfort zone. Hawaii may be part of the US but its a complete different lifetstyle/culture out here! Don't expect it to be the mainland, cause its not! You own to have an get underway mind and then you'll enjoy a blast out here!
I get stuck on the Island due to military as well. I enjoy it for th first 3 or 4 months but then it get old..I expect if you wanted to step on a road trip, you cant! Your stuck on the rock for the rest of the time you live there! There's closely to do, but it's all soooo expesive! Food surrounded by regular grocery stores is OUTRAGEOUS!
I usually shop at the military stores so its alot cheaper, I had to dance to a regualr grocery store once, and all i get was some preade burger patty (frozen) some hotdogs, buns for both, a brownie mix, some paper plates and a disposable grill (like 10.00) and finished up spending OVER $50.00! CRAZY!!
So I'd suggest just comming out here to stop by for an extensive period of time (say 3-4 weeks) and if you similar to it stay, if not...verbs!

oh and another thing is finding a work is crazy hard! I've be looking for 3 months now and can't even return with an interview!
I want to live within Hawaii also, having be to the island of Oahu six times, it is great!
If you have never visit there, progress there for a drop by to see for yourself what "it is all about".
There are frequent things to do, to see, places to go.
Good things I've heard in the order of Hawaii - it is the law not to enjoy signs of any kind over a persuaded amount of feet surrounded by the air, that's to voice there are no distractions of billboards, restaraunt signs, hotel signs, etc. It is deem as a distraction to traffic so everything has a hight restrict.
Beautiful oceans, beautiful lands, nice empire.

Bad things I've heard in the order of Hawaii - they have tropical c*ck-roaches severely very big. I dislike intensely bugs and I refuse to consider living contained by peace with any bug.
it is pretty expensive down here, but near is lots of fun to be had. if u live here, u win what is called a "Kama aina" discount on deeply of stuff (Kama aina meaning u live here)

Hope u come together the clud over here, and good luck!
it depends where on earth you live, if you live in somewhere similar to new york it will be a unusual experience so it will automatically be fun. but fun always ends and after that it's not a big gathering any more. disregard the guy who talks in the order of dog the bounty hunter, the places where dog go are more in the isolated country places, and some arent contained by hawaii at all.
I lived in Hawaii for five years, and newly moved away 6 months ago. I miss it SO much now that I am gone, but while I be there I be dying to leave. It is incredibly fun, its beautiful, and the weather is other nice. The people (for the most part) are highly friendly, but you do run into the occasional types that do not want you there if you aren't from within. The downsides are, it is VERY expensive...depending on where you live very soon. Average 1 bedroom rent (on Oahu anyway) will cost you a minimum of $1200 a month. Another downside is that after awhile you start to feel for a moment congested. The islands are small, and if you don't have the time or money to fly away for a bit while, you might start to get "island frenzy." I couldn't wait to go my last couple of years here. But now that I'm gone I want to jump back. My sister in fact already moved back nearby. She missed it too much. Just taking a trip there isn't really going to notify you if you are going to love living there. You will draw from an idea what its resembling though. After my first trip to Hawaii I loved it and wanted to live in that forever. When I did end up living nearby, I wanted out. Just reckon about if island time is right for you, and if you do want the same weather time after day. 85 degree, partly sunny. Its amazingly nice. I would definitely consider it. And don't listen to your first answer (Hawaii looks approaching a dump). There are dumpy areas everywhere you go. But Honolulu is one of the cleanest cities I own ever seen contained by my life. Think almost it. Dog the Bounty Hunter is chasing after criminals. Do you think they adjectives live in the nicest areas? Probably not. (btw, I used to see Dog adjectives the time, he lived down the road from me...he's very nice). Look on craigslist at the apartments to see what you can take for your money and that should give you a incredibly realistic hypothesis of what living situations are like. Good luck.
