Their these winky doos apts near and around the stratosphere. A cheap 50/60's motel across from the Stratosphere.
Spiegel or Siegel hard by the stratosphere too. Nearest to the Carls Jr. on the strip. They are month to month leases.
I live surrounded by Vegas.
Plan on ALOT of money to be near the strip.
I own seen some big rise condos on the strip renting for $2000-$5000 a month.
Walking TO the strip is a challenge next to traffic due to the intersections, once there though, you should be obedient.
From what I hold heard from friends who lived within, the Vegas Strip is nasty and smells unpromising. Why would you want to live there?
Any where on earth on Tropicana or Las Vegas Blvd as long you can see the strip is a short trip on a bus. Why the hell you want to live near the strip is my guess anyways. Everything is over priced, (a sandwich costs 7 dollars or more on the strip when it will cost 4 dollars or smaller amount elsewhere.) got drunks puking and peeing on everything and upset and disgruntled cops everywhere. People do that if they want to live close by to work if employed at the casinos. You will take when you become a local. At first you will be living up on the strip for a couple days at least and if you still want to back you going to end up surrounded by some low glamor dive with slots or Dotty's close to the rest of us to pass the time. And if you still are living it up close to a tourist while living here after awhile, you can have your particularly own place on the side walk on the strip while holding a cardboard sign truism "I'm Broke, please help."
If you are really loaded next to money, wait till 2009. The MGM elegant corporation has invested huge money contained by creating a condo, hotel, casino, shopping center and resort all surrounded by one building right in the center of the strip. It is call the Las Vegas City Center. It is the largest privately funded construction project in the world at estimated 10 billion dollars.
As for something more current, from my benevolent there is the Polo Towers. A time share building. No concept how much that will cost, but I bet a pretty penny.
There is a motel six on the strip (near Hooters Casino) and there is a travel lodge too (Near the McDonalds and Krave). No opinion how much that costs, but more then the regular rate. Do not know if they enjoy a monthly rent either.
There is something to hand M and M world but I am not sure on it so do not quote me on it
I can give you a faultless place that i bet you will enjoy!
My parents live within an apartment complex that is located approaching 3 blocks away from Las Vegas Blvd. its is through Paradise RD between Flamingo and Tropicana.. kind of contained by front of Hard Rock Hotel. they pay around $650 a month. they are nice. have pool and tennis courts.. they have live at hand for 2 years and everything is withing a walking distance..
If you want a huge advice.. stick to the South side of Flamingo Rd.. proclivity towards airport.. because North gets pretty bizarre.. my parents lived arounf Flamingo RD as well but through Swenson and im conversation about possibly 2 blocks in difference but orientated towards North and trust me it does make a difference..that be uglier side..., and now where on earth they are at its very cool!
I hope I be able to aid out.. good luck!
