Crowds at Magic Kingdom Orlando versus Cedar Point?

We are VERY used to waiting in vein for rides/attractions at Cedar Point. My kids (4/6) have be known to continue in column 1 hr for a ride. We live in Michigan and run to Cedar Point every summer once or twice.

How does Magic Kingdom compare during peak holiday times or EMH? Anyone know?

IM sure you will find the lines similar. Magic land has vigorous pass which you must use. Peek season is impressively crowed though. If you can get some time when arts school is in session, you will enjoy little wait. honest luck
Wait times can be the same, but WDW have fast pass so atleast you can get a reserved time to come rear legs and ride some of the more popular rides. I think Cp's lines are worse lone becasue atleast at WDW the lines are usually in covered areas near A/c usually or fans at the amazingly least. If you can avoid prime time, try May or Oct, the lines are almost non-existant and you can see and do everything
I own been to CP once contained by the summer and I can tell you that the linger times would be about like, Disney has Fastpasses you can make a purchase of in little machines surrounded by front of the rides, It tells you what times to come posterior so you may do other things. You can only enjoy 1 fast go past ticket at a time it does tell you at the bottom when you can go and get a new one for another ride.

If you are staying at Disney I would transport advantage of the Extra Magic Hours and the hour rash entry to the parks.
During peak crowds times (school breaks, Christmas and Easter) expect to dawdle between 60-100 minutes at least for the most popular rides: Soarin', Space Mountain, Test Track, Expedition:Everest, and the close to. Most waits are at least possible covered, some queues are sheltered and air conditioned.

EMH (Extra Magic Hours) are available single to Disney Resort Guests - you must be staying in a Disney Resort on Disney property. The park beside either widen an hour early surrounded by the morning, or stay open up to three hours olden closing time ONLY for Resort guests. This definitely help with lines, but as solitary one park has EMH every morning/night, most resort guests will be at hand. Morning EMH is usually the less crowded; inhabitants don't want to get up at 6am on their break. Wait times during EMH can vary greatly depending on numerous factor. I have see waits for Soarin' during EMH that pushed two hours.

Everyone touts the use of Disney's FastPass system, but be aware that during fell crowd times, FastPasses run out early. Soarin' routinely runs out in two hours of park opening.

If you can stand keeping the kids out of university for a week, you should come in the 'slow' season. Not with the sole purpose will crowds be more manageable, but hotel prices may be lower. Disney recurrently has specials that run from the bring to a close of August to the beginning of October. If you sign up at Disney's representative website, they may email you about special offer before they are released to the 'public'.
Cedar Point have always be great about moving relations through the lines quickly. Disney have perfected the art of the que flash! I would say that on a enormity of 1-10. CP is about an 8 and Disney is a 10. Now don't take me wrong... you will wait surrounded by a few lines, BUT they go rapid, and the greatest thing going on for Disney is that they have adjectives sorts of ways of entertaining you while in flash, so alot of times, you're having so much fun beside line undertakings, before you know it, you'll be resembling "oh we're almost here!"
