melrose...just east of la cienaga(sp). There is a big chunk of them...mostly vintage clothing.
Depends on what you are looking for. Aardvarks is a pretty good vintage thrift store for clothing. Out of the Closet also have several locations that has like mad of clothing... some furniture. try Goodwill. but boy, you have to really pick through like mad of stuff.
Pasadena has an Antique Mall to be precise pretty fun to explore... it has only just relocated, but it is in Old Town Pasadena somewhere... google it... it is worth the drive.
If you want a valid treat, go to San Buenaventura... freshly above Ventura off of Hwy. 101 (Main Street exit)... the entire street is crinkly with thrift stores, vintage shops, antique malls... thoroughly very cool place to call round and you can find a lot of interesting buys from frail lunchboxes to vintage clothing to furniture.
