Tampa Bay; hurricaines?:/?
Someone answered a recent question of mine on moving to florida maxim that Tampa Bay will never get hurricaines?
Why is that?
And how do you know for determined?

im planning on moving to florida for sure in the middle of subsequent year, so any info on tampa would be nice.

LOL. The rumor that I have hear all of my existence is that there is some sort of hemispheric bubble which repells hurricanes, but it's not true. Tampa Bay have a shot as well as anyone of getting a hurricane -- which, if you are prepared, aren't too bleak. I rode out plenty when I lived in both Bradenton and Miami, and you draw from used to it. I slept through Charlie, Wilma, Katrina. Well, you get the point. Just hold a battery powered follower, non perishable foods and lots of water.
I love my hometown, but nearby are some downsides. I don't know what industry you are in, but the profession market is lawfully tight for the last few years. Before I go back to academy, I looked for months for a job (I have a Bachelor's at this point) and the only article that is out in that was stuff that you have to be specialized in, or stuff that I be over qualified for and underpaid for. Also, insurance (renter's or homeowners's -- which you should have for above mentioned hurricanes) is elevated. Traffic is pretty awful because I-75, I-4 and I-275 are all too small for adjectives of the traffic that goes over them and public transportation is more a dream than authenticity.
That said, the housing market is tanking, so getting a home for cheap if you enjoy good credit is honestly easy. There aren't a full lot of rentals in standard (well, there are, but smaller amount than demand), so they can be hard to find. People are mostly friendly, the weather is wonderful, there are other plenty of things to do, some of the best beaches surrounded by the world, etc. I miss it a lot very soon that I am going to school within the north, but as before mentioned chore market is so poor, I may not know how to move back after grad institution.
not true. tampa firth has a drastically good arbitrariness of having a hurricane. we've lucked out the for a long time, but the truth is we are one of the more adjectives spots in florida.
Housing is pretty expensive, but here are a lot of things to do and it's above 70 degree right now. winter is just about 2 weeks long down here. our sports teams are the best here and overall it's a honest place to be.

The tampa bay nouns is by no means immune to hurricanes. Katrina be supposed to hit tampa, but instead swung up and headed for unmarked orleans. But on a more positive note, since tampa is located surrounded by the middle of the state on the gulf side, chances are slim that it will sustain primary hurricane activity. I used to live surrounded by the area, and its fairly nice, there are plenty of things to do and see. If you own the chance, swing by ybor city at dark, plenty of clubs, bars, shops, and restaurants to keep hold of you busy for hours.
On rare occasion Tampa Bay Florida can get hurricanes wheather if it is a sub-tropical system back or after the Atlantic Hurricane season. Or even if it is during the Atlantic hurricane season. Tampa Bay Florida can get hurricanes any time.
