Will hot york enjoy another subway tunnel?
i heard on tv some time they will enjoy a mega tunnel in the adjectives. plus a tunnel for a new amtrak tunnel or some entity

I work for Parsons transportation group that has the contracts for these job. What you heard something like is the East Side Access project that puts an LIRR terminal in distinguished central (hence, east side of manhattan access)
The other subway issue is the 2nd avenue chain, which isn't new as much as it's anyone revamped and out of it's dormant state. About 5 years ago the tunnels were re-opened along next to the 63rd Street Queens tunnels. Hope this has be of help.
The mega tunnel you are chitchat about is the one for NJ Transit connecting into Penn Station.
There is a lower stratum of the 63rd Street Tunnel that will eventually connect LIRR to Grand Central.
As for new subways, aside from 2nd Avenue, nil else in the works.
