Miami International Airport to Miami, Beach?
I have an adjectives day layover contained by Miami. Will it be a hassle to go to Miami Beach from the airport? What is in attendance to do there next to a 14 year old? I would love some insight...1) How much to grasp a taxi from the airport to Miami Beach? 2) Points of interest? 3) Good restaurants? 4) Where should the hackney carriage let us sour so we can foot it for the day? I know it's a great deal of questions..gratitude for your help!

DONT TAKE THE BUS! IT WILL TAKE FOR EVER. Public transportation is a frail spot in Miami. If you hold 6-7 hours to waste than return with a cab and appropriate it to Miami Beach, if you want the beach and food transmit the cab to bring you to 8th and Ocean Drive. If you want more shopping and people watching and alot of different restaurants describe the cab to lug you to 17th and Washington. Both of these spots are in the heart of Miami Beach and it is no more than a 7-10 minutes totter from 17th and Washington to 8th and ocean, you can seize all around the south Beach nouns of Miami Beach very slickly on foot. Cab rides will be something like $30 each course but wont take longer than 45minutes contained by the worst traffic. A bus will take at lowest an hour each course with no traffic. TAKE A CAB!
I am sorry ,I am 2 hours belatedly,I was out.
lift the free shuttle from the airport, to hollydays inn in Coral Gables ,and waddle around the Miracle Mile.
just surrounded by case ,the metro bus letter"J" go from Coral Gables to Miami Beach and You may take it surrounded by the first floor of the MIA airport ( south is Gables ,North is the Beach)also in the first floor is the taxi ask for flat rate to South Beach,(may be 25 or so.)
all the concierge of the hotels within the airport area ,may sustain You with the city tours sometime.
if You have luggage ,You may stored at the airport ( sooner or later is not that expensive)

take the metro bus "7" (airport's first floor)to down town Miami, and next the "S" to south Beach. return by viceversa.
