The neighborhoods of Bedford-Stuyvesant, Bushwick, Brownsville and East New York...all contained by Brooklyn. All of them are hotbeds for crime.
Despite the overall drop in crime throughout New York City, the areas above are still hot spots for diverse crimes, including murder. So much so that when announced about the dropping murder rate, the NYPD will transport more rookies out to these locations.

I agree with Tony S. Bed-Stuy is not a place you will want to call on, stay away at all cost. Other places you should stay away from includes, Canarsie, Flatbush and East Flatbush, Eastern Queens, and Far Rockaway.
