What would be the cheapest road to travel to Chicago and spinal column? And no I am not going to ride my bike up their!?
I live in Hartford CT. I dont enjoy much money right now, but its really defining to my friend that I come up and see her, she has her first big role surrounded by a major play up their. I hold about simply a month before the play ends and I will individual stay the weekend. I just am looking for the cheapest style to travel their. I am not good near that whole finding plane tickets for 100 bucks item. Any ideas be to start. Thank you.

I found a Greyhound bus fare for $153 (if you travel in May). It take about a morning to get here. Go to their website and check it out for yourself. You may qualify for a discount below one of the conditions.
But don't be afraid to try the "name your own price" point. I did it once and it's a great way to find bargain. Go to the Priceline website (the link is below) and click on the "bid now" button. YOu can put within whatever price you want to money and if there's is a seat they want to carry rid of, they may give it to you for that price. Type within $100 and see what happens. It's worth a try and it's not that complicated. You do need a credit/debit card, though.
I agree beside the person who posted previously. Southwest is usually the best, but depending on the weekend it looks like the best fare from Hartford to Chicago are around $250.
The way to find less expensive tickets is to bid at Priceline.com . Be guarded to read all the rules and restrictions though. You can't guarantee what time you'll be flying. Flights walk out between 6am-10pm, and there will be a max of one nouns. It will only show you the flight times once you repay.
You could also use Priceline to get a large amount on a rental car, but it would steal most of your weekend to drive from Hartford.
Try Southwest Airlines. They have fantastic rates. They fly direct from Hartford to Chicago Midway!
Also, check Greyhound buslines (about $130) and Amtrak (about $160).
