I lived outside of Orlando and I enjoyed it. The bugs are horrible and the lightening contained by the summer is unbelievable.
I am originally from Georgia and moved to Florida for work. I have lived contained by Orlando, Clearwater, and Panama City Beach. Of the 3, the best place to live in my assessment was PCB. Clearwater & Orlando are extremely crowded and crime much high. The schools contained by PCB were pretty upright for the kids. We had to homeschool contained by Clearwater because of the violence contained by the schools. Also, the gait of life is slower within PCB. Wherever you go, you own to realize that you will only find out what you put into it. Good luck.
I don't know about Florida (sorry) but I would seriously consider California. Now that the housing bubble have been popped rent and houses are more affordable. Plus the weather is the best contained by the country. Even Northern California like Sacramento is markedly nice and good place to bump up kids. I was born and raise in Sac. and in a minute live in Southern Cali. I love both places. My kids similar to both places as well. Oh and in attendance aren't any hurricanes or swamps.
I own lived in Key West, Orlando and Pensacola. It's other humid but (except for hurricanes) the weather is usually very accurate. The closer to the beach you obtain, the more expensive it is.
Everyone needs movers, and Florida is no exception.
The closer you live to swampy areas, the more bugs at hand are. Key West has no physical bug problems, Pensacola had a few inland mosquitos and Orlando is full of bugs.
