There are some shows and concerts he could detain too, depends on when he's coming. Also there is Gameworks by the MGM for a place to enjoy a beer and shoot some billiards.
Set aside a on a daily basis amount for gambling, and stick to it, anything.
First off, make clear to him that even though something is across the street, it's really far away. Tourists here think they can waddle all over the city because they lone see a few buildings and think everything is close. Optical mirage as our buildings are HUGE and well over 1-3 average city blocks big. So especially if he's coming during the summer months, don't wander around. Rent a car. Go to adjectives the hotels, go downtown and see the Fremont St Experience. Definately travel to the Hard Rock Hotel, The Palms and Madalay Bay. See a Cirque de Soleil show. O or Mystere. Ice Direct from Russia at the Riv is a good show too. Experience a dutiful buffet or two, eat a foot long long hot dog next to a beer. Visit the Golden Gate Hotel downtown (one of the oldest hotels in the city) for their 99 cent shrimp cocktail (do this while visit Fremont St). Drive rental car to the Hoover Dam. Really pretty a site and do go on the tour.

Tell him not to cram too much into his days and to thieve time out to just chill out at the pool and relax.

By the agency - his "Briddish" accent ain't nothin but a item here. The city is full of tourists from all over the world.
We did the helicopter tour that included an afternoon offroad experience around Hoover dam and Lake Mead.

Also did a horse ride within the mountains which was great to do to draw from away from the heat of Vegas. They did a cookout too which be great.

The Cirque du Soleil shows are worth a look too. We did Love which is the Beatles show in The Mirage hotel.

He will be really grateful for nouns conditioning. If it is really hot you can walk through the hotels and shops, as they are type of joined to respectively other, without going contained by the open nouns. When we were in that in 2006 the temp get up to 116 degrees! It be still 105 at midnight. Mind you we did go surrounded by July.

Also have a righteous look around the hotels. They are fantastic
Aviod flying AA
take the helicopter flight to the hoover bank expensive but worth it.ALLdrinks are free while playing the machines r gambling.
Be wise with the booze - it can be astoundingly hot the afternoon after a fun night and near is nothing approaching having a hangover when it is 100 degree and dry as an oven.

Wear sunblock if you have hugely pale skin. It's the desert after adjectives. If you forget to, or laugh it sour - you will wind up regretting it.

Go see Red Rock Canyon or the Hoover Dam within reach when you need a break from the casinos.

The guy above is right around walking - take public transport (there is a tram on the strip), rent a coup¨¦ or grab a hackney cab. Worth the money.

Wear protection if making "friends".

Tip your bartender and waitresses :)

The accent isn't a problem - the US get tourists from everywhere and we are pretty nice to everyone.
Do not lose more that he can afford gambling
Avoid getting involved with the prostitute any on the streets or surrounded by the hotel. Prostitute is illegal within Vegas; the closest legal bordello is contained by Pahrump an hour away.

Pick a corner a day and wallow in those casinos. There are three big corners with the following casinos

Tropicana - MGM Grand - Luxor - Mandalay Bay - Excalibur - NYNY - Monte Carlo

Caesars Palace - Ballys - Bills - Flamingo

Wynn - Palazzo - Venetian - Treasure Island - Mirage

Other casinos on The Strip are Sahara, Stratosphere, Riveria and Circus Circus

Remember in attendance are people who will pick up the wallet if they procure a chance when at the casino enclose (happened to my brother) or pick your pockets so keep wallet surrounded by front pocket.

Drinks are free (give cocktail $1) when gambling at the table or slots

Enjoy the buffet the best deals for meal

Try a Cirque show, there are five, but Mystere at Treasure Island be voted best by locals

Sleep in overdue, sit by the pool and enjoy the eye candy, and purely relax. Remember this is the Mohave Desert so can be HOT during the day and cool at hours of darkness
