Any thoughts/suggestions for a trip to the Wild Animal Park contained by San Diego,Ca?
I keep finding unenthusiastic things (a) the changes made within the past few years but I really want to hear the positive things my 10 yo son (who loves animals and to be active) will wallow in about the park. Also, the best times to see specific things/shows?

I live here, I dont hear negative things going on for the zoo/wild animal park/balboa park. I personally similar to the zoo and balboa park more.
Parents and Kids enjoy the zoo while Balboa park is more of an adult-sightseeing/relaxing place.
The in their natural habitat animal park is in north county while the Zoo & Balboa Park (next door to one another) are contained by southern/coastal SD.
Also The wild animal park is going to be hot as hell contained by the next few months. I'd progress to Balboa Park and the Zoo.

Most populace who leaves comments online are those negative empire..positive people dont bother that much .. best article to do is visit the park and relish
The positive piece about the San Diego Wild Animal park is that it is more than newly a 'fun' place to go and see animals. There is legitimate thought behind this park. Instead of human being stuck in small cage or display areas the animals have acres to roam around free. Because they hold the extra room, they begin to display their organic behaviors.
I would suggest that before you run, watch a really worthy documentary about African or Asian mammals next to your son. I recommend the Living Planet series by David Attenborough. Then go to the park and see the animals. See if you can pick out some of the things you learned within the videos.
Here are some tips to net the most of your trip:
1. Go in the evening. Take the $10 ride right before/during sunset, i.e. when the animals are most active. Even better, turn on a rainy light of day, the park will be less crowded and the animals really stirring.
2. Be prepared to walk deeply. Walk to the outer areas of the park, that is where on earth you will really be able to remark the animals. Find a bench overlooking the large enclosure and have lunch here, don't eat within the crowded hot picnic areas in the settlement area.
3. Buy a year elapse, it's not so expensive and then instead of going for 1 long tiring year, go for a few hours whenever you similar to. The more your son learns roughly animals the more you will want to go final and see them in soul. Plus it's non profit so you will be benefiting the animals every time you go.
4. Call ahead and find out when they hold the special activities for children on the daytime you go. (If you obtain a membership you will carry the zoonooz magazine that will tell you going on for the special activities for children.
You can shift at night, in that are special tours to see the nocturnal animals. It's really cool. Or you could just step in the light of day. There is so much stuff to do. There are some pretty good restaurants, shops, a petting zoo, and a cable vehicle. They had a log ride but I'm not sure if that's still here. Anyway, it;s awesome, you should go =)
