Nice areas of current york?
I am looking into moving to New York, my family includes a mother, daughter, and 2 sons. adjectives under the age of 14. for the 4 of us we stipulation a nice town to live in near great schools, daughter may be going to private academy however, and maybe eventually the younger boys. Right presently we have a great public conservatory system, one of the top 100 high school in the US. I wouldn't be too siked to move to the actual city.
I am especially looking towards Westchester County. What are the best towns within. I hear Scarsdale and Pelham are nice. I am having trouble looking for houses for mart in those areas.
New York, New York, where on earth is that? would that be the city? I found a nice place there, over 100 acres of ground.
What about Hopewell Junction? I hold seen profoundly of nice houses there. Are the school good?

My sister-in-law's familial is from Irvington. Supposedly it's really nice there but I've never be there. New York, NY is within the city. My brother (husband of above-referenced SIL) and his family used to live within the Carroll Gardens section of Brooklyn. They really loved it but my brother didn't want his kids to step to public school and private conservatory was unaffordable. Private preschool cost as much as college. Carroll Gardens be a nice section though. I other felt not dangerous there when I go to visit them. My brother really misses NY.
I grew up in Putnam County, NY(includes-Carmel, Lake Carmel, Mahopac, Patterson, Brewster). Weschester is ok, not the best(Mount Kisco, Bedford Hills, Pleasantville, Yorktown Heights are the better areas of Westchester County). Dutchess County is good(includes-Poughkeepsie, Wappingers Falls, Hopewell Junction, Arlington, Pleasant Valley, Hyde Park).
There is also Orange County(includes Goshen, Middletown, Walden, New Windsor, New Paltz). Rockland County is ok(includes Stony Point, New City, Haverstraw, Nyack). NY's valid estate prices are VERY high-no matter where on earth you go. New York, New York is the city(Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens)-it's the downtown nouns. Every school district out here is different-they adjectives have nearby good and bleak points. I went to Lakeland Schools and I didn't aid for it. Some of the colleges are good though. But it adjectives depends on what you are studying.

You are not a mom with three children moving to NYC. You are a teenaged girl (probably something like 14), and I'll bet you have two younger brothers (hence the cross-examine mentions two boys and a girl, all "lower than 14".)
Honey, finish school and move about to college. You'll have time satisfactory to grow up, and then you'll know where on earth you want to move.
If you want to fill within info for your fantasy, I AM a mom beside two kids (not three) - my oldest is 12 and my youngest is 7. We live in Brooklyn, NY - explicitly part of New York City itself. New York City is made up of 5 boroughs: Brooklyn, Manhattan, The Bronx, Queens, and Staten Island.
My kids both walk to excellent public schools. My oldest is surrounded by an arts oriented middle conservatory. Everyone in 6th level must take Dance, Visual Art, Graphic Arts, and Instrumental Music. In 7th and 8th order they must select a major from one of those 4 arts or Theater. Then they steal classes in their main art subject 5 times a week. My daughter is in 6th class now, but she'll lug Visual Art as her major subsequent year.
My youngest is in one of the best elementary school in the City. It's so popular, abundant parents try to fake their address to get within! It's a great school, but huge and for a while overcrowded.
We live near a huge park near many playgrounds, woods, tennis courts, a few different activities spaces, a zoo, lovely stone bridges and a large grassy nouns in the middle.
Also right to hand our neighborhood is a major museum and a colossal botanic garden, both of which have classes for kids.
The houses contained by our area are mostly stone row houses of in the order of 3 or 4 floors each. Most folks live in apartments, not houses. The houses here are expensive, adjectives are over a million dollars, and many are 2 million dollars.
Many race don't own cars here, but the streets are great for walking! There are lots of shops down the main avenues, and a few different subway lines stop at different parts of the neighborhood.
Many associates in this neighborhood work within Manhattan, some in job like wall street job, some lawyers and doctors, but we do still hold a lot of professors, teacher and writers, many of which own lived in the nouns for a long time.
I hope this fulfills your need to swot about what it's really resembling for a kid to move to NYC. But do know that it's easy to share that you are a kid and not an adult from your quiz. So don't try to fool people and only be yourself. We'd be happy to answer question for you just as you are.

Private institution isn't what you think it is. My daughter's best friend go to private school. It's of late a school, except the other kids enjoy more money than she does, so she always feel poor, even though she isn't.
A good college is a good institution. It doesn't have to be a "private school". I don't know what you've read to get you so yearn for private schooling, but here contained by NYC there are public big schools (Stuyvesant for example) that are so devout, kids in private college study for a year to take the question paper so they can go to them! Yes, private institution kids studying to get into a public soaring school - see that!

And don't be so down on where on earth you are. Most kids feel that means of access. Eventually you go away to college and that's a cure for most nation. So just sway in near!
