Somewhere fun I could thieve my brother for his 7th birthday within New York City?
Answers:
Mickey Mantle's for lunch or dinner... it is on Central Park South, overlooks Central Park
and you could budge to
The American Museum of Natural History and /or Hayden Planetarium, which is part of the museum, on Central Park West and 80th St.
or you could embezzle him to FAO Schwartz which is on Fifth Avenue at 58th Street..a great big toy store

White Castle, 103rd and 1st
FAO Schwartz on Fifth Avenue at 58 Street. Humongous hands on toy store, near an ice cream parlor.
Central Park and Zoo. This is a short way of walking north of FAO Schwartz, and he'll love that adults can't get into the children's zoo unless escorted by a child. Petting zoo here.
Walk across the park and up to 80th Street, embezzle him into the Museum of Natural History. He'll go gaga for the dinosaurs, love the exhibits on the American Indians, and MUCH else.
Depending on what he likes, the Museum of Natural History is other fun, or you can try Toys R Us. Most kids are into video games, so you can try the Nintendo Store, or you can take him to Dylan's Candy Bar or Serendipity. Ripley's Believe it or Not museum is contained by Times Square, and you can go downtown to Economy Candy (there is a TON of candy there) or the Freakatorium (mmm. It's get a lot of unnatural sideshow-y stuff, so I don't know if you'd think it appropriate for him.
Hope you guys own fun!
Most best place to stop by is Playland Amusement Park in Rye, NY.

MTA MNRR offer package matter.
Take him to see The Lion King on Broadway. It's a fantastic play and every seat contained by the house is a decent one. The better balcony spaces are priced quite justifiably too!
He might also like the Museum Of Natural History (admission price is SUGGESTED... you can rate whatever you like)
The Sony Wonder Museum is free and adjectives about technology.
Madame Toussaud's Wax Museum is incredible and so much fun to roam around! He can see tons of important people up close and pose next to them. (Of course they are made of wax, but they look so real!) Make sure to bring a camera and nick lots of pictures!
If you do something that is priced as expected, then you can splurge on a fantastic banquet, or bring him to FAO Schwarz or Toys R Us and let him pick out a really great toy as a birthday contribution.
Take him to the Empire State Building, he can see the whole city from the 86th floor inspection deck. You can also take him to the Museum of Natural History, a kid his age love to swot up about science and history.
Good luck
Somewhere fun could be:
Fao Shwartz (A kids dream, TOYS)
Toys-r-us (Times Square, they have a merry-go-round)
Chuck E. Cheeses (Arcade, Games, and Pizza)
New York Aquarium
The Bronx Zoo
Museum of Natural History
The Disney Store
Toys-R-Us
Chelsea piers for sum sporting time fun, Dave and busters for arcade, bowling etc. (but u may need to be at lowest possible 21 to accompany him, christen them), planet hollywood and mars 2112 is honest for a unique dinner or lunch, they both are themed restaurants. excluding that u could try new roc city contained by new rochelle, its a ways out but drastically fun, like a mini disney world contained by the winter.
I don`t assume there is anyplace fun contained by new york city for a 7 year antiquated.
