Anyone be to Key West?

I'm thinking about going on holiday at hand in June and wondered if anyone could distribute me there inference and ideas roughly speaking what to expect and what it is like? :-)

Answers:
I've be there when I go on a cruise. Don't go, it may be incredibly hot but it's also incredibly boring. There is nought really to do.
I lived there for 4 years.
Things To Do:
Sunset on Mallory Square, at the finish of Duval Street. Get there hasty, as it can get crowded, especially on the week-end.
Sloppy Joe's Bar
The Winter White House
Hemingway's House
Fort Zachary Taylor
The Southernmost Point
Keno's Sandal Shop, great sandals and they are not expensive!!
Smathers Beach, on the Atlantic side.
Mel Fisher's Museum and shop, showcasing the treasure of the Atocha, a wrecked treasure ship!!
Just walking up and down Duval Street is fun; lots of retail shops, great eateries and lots of opportunity to "people watch".
Take some time to drive around and look at the conch houses.
Treat yourself to a pedcab ride or the conch train.

Have fun and don't forget your camera!
OMG! surrounded by June.yes, I agree...its soooo boring unless you are gay or lesbian.I live 59 minutes from there!! on US 1 contained by Homestead
I've only be to Key West once, and it was the most fun ... I want to shift back!!

I love the laid back/island lifestyle, the architecture, the food ... and the chickens roaming the streets!

Yes, it will be hot ... blah blah blah ... it IS Florida, afterall!

Restaurants to check out:
Bagatelle, Mangoes, Blue Heaven ... we be only within for 2 1/2 days, so that's where we ate. There are more places than that, obviously!

Bars:
Hogs Breath, Irish Kevins, Sloppy Joes ... these are all on the Atlantic side ... start your "Duval Crawl" at hand!

Transportation:
Key West is only 3 miles (or 4?) across, so you don't necessitate a car once you go and get there ... rent a moped, golf pushcart, beach comber bike, or bearing.

Touristy Stuff:
Southernmost Point, Mallory Square (sunset), Earnest Hemingway Museum, the Little White House, Ghost Tours, Key West Aquarium

With all this stuff to do (and more!), I can't possibly take in why people believe Key West is boring!!
