Working for Disney?My husband and I would love to move to Florida and work for Disney.?
I don't have a unshakable position in mind, How complex is it to get a mission there? How is the repay? How many hours do you obtain a week? How are the benefits? Any info you can give me would be greatly appreciated. I enjoy also thought about working for Universal Studios, any one hold info on that as well?
Also what nouns would you recommend moving to? I can't afford a huge house payment though.

I heard profusely of Disney workers say they live surrounded by kissimmee but there is also Daven Port the closer you live to Disney the easier you can capture to work. IE If your assigned clock in time is 8am you don't want to be traveling 3hrs to draw from to work.

It is fairly trouble-free to get a career as hourly, but professional and salaried jobs are harder to come by. Check out the website and get the impression free to post your resume and search for job. I will say, however, that Disney favors folks who already live within Florida as opposed to those who currently live out of state, even if you state you are of a mind to re-locate. So something to keep contained by mind. For an hour;y role, you'd be fine to move there and after apply.
As for areas to move into, my husband and I are also looking into moving to Florida. The greater Orlando area have really gone up in price (Kissimmee, Celebration, etc..). So for affordable housing (i.e underneath $300k), you have to look outside the Orlando nouns. Bradenton, Claremont, Tampa, Jacksonville, and Tallahassee are much more reasonable. My husband and I are interested contained by the Claremont area. It is still nice, smaller number expensive and only in the region of 45 minutes to an hour from Disney World!

I hold to say that Disney team always seem to be genuinely happier than Universal force. Maybe Disney's just better at screening for contented people, I don't know, but they appear to enjoy their work more.

Many of the theme parks workers live together to afford a simple apartment. They live in outlying areas resembling Kissimmee because the rent is cheaper, even though they have to travel and hour or so to find to work.It is a "happy " place to work but not a okay paid place to work

Be prepared for ALOT of dress code rules. No visible tattoos or piercings except for ONE piercing surrounded by each lobe for women. Even with both of your incomes you will enjoy to work overtime just to settle up the bills. The average house here starts off at $260,000 and an apartment contained by a BAD area starts at $650 a month. It's not tough to get a career at Disney, they hire just just about everyone that applies (as long as the position you apply for is still open). Your benefits are almost non-existent.. you will have set healthcare but not much else.
Right now Orlando have the FBI and ATF here tring to clean up the crime problem, which is so desperate it has even effect Disney.. not to mention our traffic and weather.
