What are the best things to do while surrounded by Carlsbad, CA?
I'm 16 and my sister is 14..we are going with my 47 year ancient mother to San Diego to see my little cousins and aunt and uncle the first week in June. What are some fun and "youthful" things to do...besides suntan at the beach unsurprisingly!

Legoland..If you close to to shop try the carlsbad outlet mall and the flower feilds right subsequent store
There are some outlets within and a costco... lol ( jk dont go see the costco) And the shoreline.. thats about it.
Well i live in Carlsbad! down surrounded by San Diego is SeaWorld (about 45 min from cbad). About 1 hr and 30 min north from cbad is Disneyland/California Adventure, which is like the sickest place surrounded by the world! Also up there is Universal Studios Hollywood, which is cool. Umm there's a nice outlet shopping arcade in Cbad by the flower field.. don't know about June but right presently the flowers look like the american flag. At the Agua Hedionda lagoon you can acquire wakeboarding/waterskiing lessons or rent a boat..that's SUPER fun!! yea i really recommend that one. Omg another fun place for you guys would be K1 Speed, which is indoor kart race. ITS SO FUN!! You could also go to the Wild Animal Park or the San Diego Zoo. There is also Wild Rivers waterpark, or close to 10 times better there is Knott's Soak City and Knott's Berry Farm.
Yea pretty much most of the fun is outside carlsbad. Not too far though.
