April stays surrounded by New Jersey?
My wife and I are looking for places to stay on te Jersey Shore in April, we are comming out for a wedding ceremony in NY, but want to stay within Jersey, on the shore, Seaside area. Any one know of offseason rates websites, or a great place to stay.
Money is surrounded by consideration as we are not rich.

You will probably want to stay surrounded by the Northern Jersey Shore Area so you will be closer to New York (you didn't mention what area of NY you are going to).
Ocean Grove is a stunning town and Asbury Park (next town North) is revitalizing and has some awesome restaurants - I wouldn't stay IN Asbury Park lately yet, though. Here's a great B&B to be exact open within April in Ocean Grove - I stayed within once and it was great:

Other towns to consider would be Long Branch and Sea Bright. I would consider Point Pleasant, but that might be a bit far depending upon where on earth you are going for the wedding.
Be aware that some places will be closed for the winter still. Many places don't start gap until late April or impulsive May if they are only initiate seasonally.

It's still quite chilly within April and many of the shore areas will not be get underway for the season.
Seaside Heights will be more of your touristy areas and is closer to the boardwalk. Seaside Park is more of your residential beach neighborhood. You might also consider Point Pleasant too. Again, not sure how much of the boardwalk will be amenable. Other options might be Lakewood and Toms River.
