What can evolve if York university parking tickets are not compensated?

I don't know going on for York, but I went to another Ontario university and be told by my RA not to bother paying them. Well he was wrong - someone come to my room one day to read out they were towing my vehicle. I ran down and it be up on the hook, I sat contained by it and refused to draw from out (I wouldn't have be able to take-home pay the tow and impound fees). A campus cop eventually came and took pity - I promised to fast move my car and run pay, which I did.
If it is not a state/city academy, and you are not a student and you are not on their campus, then you can't do squat. If the sports car is regitered under your father, I doubt they can hold your registration any. If the car is ever on campus again, afterwards can two it, but they are still just a private "company" and can't do much else.
They can possibly put a stop on your registration meaning you can't register for classes or graduate.
