We own parks, beaches, museums. The Salvadore Dali Museum is within St. Pete. There's always dining, shopping, nightlife, golf, spas, airboat rides, fishing, baseball, etc. If you can occupy yourself at home for the other 50 weeks of the year, I'm pretty sure you'll find plenty besides subject parks down here in the Sunshine State.

Any beach could occupy 2 weeks of my time. St Pete and Clearwater are both excellent.
I only just did Horse World for the first time. It's just riding trails, but it's nice and relaxing and they also hold a stocked pond and other stuff. There were folks there picnicing at the table, reading, napping, taking in the animals.
