Traffic on 101 South from 11A exit to LA downtown?
I am visiting LA. I obligation to take 101 South from 11A exit to jump to downtwon on working days. How is traffic on this route between 8 a.m and 9 a.m?

Expect stocky traffic at any time, as this is the main route into downtown from the San Fernando Valley. Although I cannot locate exit 11A (and Mulholland would not be a logical exit), as I follow the new system, this "should" be 11 miles from the center of town, so...
I would hence allow at least an hour the first time, and see how it go. You can always slim down the time by 5 or 10 minutes a day until you own gauged it properly. (And on any given time an accident can mess it up anyway, and folks will get the drift.)
If your car does not enjoy GPS, I suggest you get hold of a map and come to follow alternate routes in shield you have to bring off the freeway. After you enjoy left the Valley, you can parallel the freeway by taking one of the streets to the south and carry into downtown quite handily by surface streets if prerequisite. You can also tune your radio to 980 AM radio which will give traffic updates every few minutes, which can give a hand.

It takes roughly 30 minutes from Universal Studio (Barham Exit) on 101 to Downtown LA. It's emphatically earlier the better. If you can give 30 minutes earlier, right to be heard 7:30, you'll face plentifully less traffic.
Very very unwieldy..I dont know where exactly "11A" is located but the 101 once you to hand downtown LA at that hour is heavily congested..
It is actually congested throughout the light of day in the downtown nouns.
Are you kid? 101 exit 11A is Mulholland Drive, no way to Downtown.
