I am latest here contained by our place and we are looking for a nice Sandy Beach (waves,sunbathing,swimming) this summer?
I live here in Nashville,TN . We want a sand that is the closest as possible and not that expensive. Any suggestions? (we are only just driving our way to the coast..so yeah...) and please give me some descriptions just about the beach rather. thanks.

I am going to recommend Ocracoke Island here surrounded by beautiful North Carolina. As you know NC is right subsequent to Tennessee so the drive is not too far. Ocracoke Island is part of North Carolina's Outer Banks and have some of the most beautiful beach on the east coast in my humble view. The reason? The beach are within the confines of the National Park and for that principle are free of commercialization and development. They remain contained by a relatively pristine condition. You get to Ocracoke Island by putting your vehicle on a ferry. The transfer ride is also pretty cool. Here are the ferry schedule and places to board:
