How much is student travel?
My 20 year old daughter is a full time college student
She hear that she can get a discount for plane and train travel. someone told her she could move about from new york to california for 20 dollars is this true ?

I hold never heard of that one. Call some airlines and ask and telephone some travel agencies and see what they say.
I do know that you can find out of sight fees. When I fly from DFW to Cal. it cost more than if I have my flight originate from Missouri, thru DFW and then on to Cal. (the nest egg is about 1/2 of the ordinary fee)
If they ask why I didn't actually fly from Missouri, I narrate them I had a customer here so I basically drove down and picked up the flight at DFW. (you can't check any baggage so I do carry-on or I letters my stuff to my destination 3 days ahead with hotel to hold)
Do your homework and check adjectives avenues.
I find that hard to believe...especially next to gas prices on the rise. There might be some discount on different types of travel but to that extent, probably not. Try STA travel, which focuses on travel for college students.
