Nice town in the neighbourhood Asheville, NC?
We are looking for a nice peaceful risk-free town 20 to 30 minutes or closer to Asheville, NC. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions anyone may have. Will be bringing along 2 children so nice school would be a bonus. We'd like to stay out of congested areas and definately want to stay away from any crime jam-packed areas that may exist. Thanks!

Greensboro is almost 3 hours away.
Marion is totally close to I-40. I'm not sure about hotels surrounded by the area, but, it's slightly peaceful here.
My friend lives in Maggie Valley, and she really like it there.
