Key West, what are the best hotels/resorts right (a) mallory Square?
Going down in ealy August w/GF and want to stay somewhere really classy close or on Duval and on the coast.
Btw how hot is it there this time of year? is it too hot to be out and around in the daytime?
Answers:
Key West have some very nice hotels and resorts and most of them are close to Mallory Square and Duval Street.
If you want a habituated brand name and an average size property, progress with any Hyatt Key West Resort & Marina (110 rooms, 10 suites) or The Westin Key West Resort (178 rooms).
If you want to experience a larger and historic operation, go for the Wyndham Casa Marina Resort (236 rooms, 75 suites), built by Henry Flagler surrounded by 1920.
For something unique, you might want to consider The Sunset Key Guest Cottages (37 cottages), which are on a separate island i.e. a 10-minute boat ride from Duval Street. If price matters, that place may be more than you are ready to spend. The Gardens Hotel (12 rooms, 4 suites, 1 cottage) also is fabulous, but costs much less than the Sunset Key Guest Cottages.
Due to the cooling the deep breezes, it is not too hot to be out and about contained by the daytime in August, as hundreds of people prove daily.
My long time favorite is the Pier House at the foot of Duval St. It have its own little beach. The weather is hot, hot, hot, but because of consistent the deep breeze it feels a bit smaller amount so than many other Fla. Cities.
