I like fred/wash. counties..lots of state parks nearby..harpers ferry is cool(koa) and western md.
i would not progress to astg.is.days r cool , but in summer at hours of darkness you get attacked by mosq. and horse flies..
Assateague island of the eastern coast. south of Ocean City.
it's a cosseted island with windy horses.
