Saturday hours of darkness I am going to see Lion King on Broadway surrounded by NYC and am not sure what to wear?
It is the 8 show in NYC and I am not sure what I should wear. Should I dress up or should I freshly wear jeans? i am not sure

I went and saw that roughly 2 years ago. It was fantastic!! I basically wore a nice dressy blouse and some gaucho pants next to some black flats. I wouldn't wear jeans, if i were you. When i go there be this young couple and they wore jeans. They looked deeply out of place and awkward. Trust me you will enjoy a great time.
you should dress up. i be there a couple of years ago and i be very close to wearing a suite.but i go to see phantom of the opera. i would suggest a impressively nice dress. not a cocktail dress but a nice dress. the older relations there will be dressed highly nicely. so honourable luck. have fun. i yearning i could go and see it.

If you run to dinner first, you may want to go comfy offhand. Nice slacks, sweater, scarf. Or if you go out after. The the stage is business casual.

When I go, we wore jeans and nice sweaters. The theatre is a more relaxed atmosphere. Unless you are planning on going out somewhere after the show, I would dress more relaxed.

Casual Attire, no gym shoes. If you are going to wear jeans be sure to dress them up beside a nice dress-up shirt/blouse and/or jacket and shoes.
You can wear only what you feel approaching, the Americans do tend to dress up a bit more than the Brits. Go as you want and be comfortable.
You don't have to dress up. Some do some don't. Jeans, a nice top and nice shoes is fine.
