What is NYC really like? Is it close to the "majic" city in the movies, or is it different?

well, im born and raise in NYC (brooklyn) and i love it. i love spending my night in timesquare. Its of late so mixed and beautiful. It is newly like what you see within the movies and shows. Nothing is different. You can walk down the street at 4am and it looks similar to 3in the afternoon with adjectives the lights and people outside. It is definately a place everyone should come and see. I am szo blessed to be here

It once be...now you'll a moment ago see a Duane Read, Starbucks, abandoned mom and pop businesses, and a sandbank on every street. Most of the good places closed down due to ridiculous big prices. Even the MTA charges you $2.00 just to shift anywhere ONE WAY. NYC was once great, but I really cannot utter this anymore.
My friend, NYC is on of the formous cities contained by the world, and one of the most expensive. So get prepared to shell out a lot of money, epecialy within Manhattan.
