Disney within August?

Will there be hurricanes? I know Orlando is not along the coast, but can be severly effect by hurricanes.

I also know that the heat and humidity are ominous during this time of year. We'll be visiting contained by the middle of August 9-16. What kind of temperature can we expect, and the heat index, what thoughtful of heat can we expect?

And, for the crowds, merely HOW bad are they? I've read adjectives over the place that they are bad, is August the worst...?

I appreciate adjectives comments/suggestions!

When i go to disney for 2 weeks there wa sone sunshine with precipitation and i saw a twister, but they r used to it over there it wasnt anything leading.

it is going to be HOT, just google the temperature, when i was queing for rides pple faited, but it get me on the rides faster i guess. just preserve hydrated

crowds are a part of disney energy, if u dont like them, dont shift, it is busy busy busy but thats whats so great about it, the crowds arent miserbal londoners, they are bubbly americans and tourists, crowds are FUN
About that time this former fall I drove previous a Bank clock thing that said it be 117 degrees outside. Now, interpret being on hot pavement crammed between thousands of other relations (Magic Kingdom is the smallest park and holds around 60,000 people past being full).
August usually doesn't acquire totally packed, but it get close.
It is also during the rainy season and Orlando have gotten a few hurricanes in times gone by (few and far between). If rain is within the forcast, plan on high humidity.
Anytime over the summer it will be busy and crowded. The boil is horrible in the summer within. I wouldn't consider rushing things to get at hand though. I went surrounded by late January going into Feb. and it be beautiful. In the 70's. Oh, and I live within PA. When I went beside my family to Disney, it be very totally cold and it snowed while we were in attendance.
No, back when i be in dignified school i go to disneyworld in august. we receive three weeks off for arts school. the only entry you have to verbs about is the humidity. and as expected the heat. within will be very little lines because most ancestors are still in institution. Boy it was fun one ably to do a ride more than once and not waiting in rank for like 20min. oh but pay attention of the more popular rides sometimes they have lines within the later afternoon.
There is a possibility that there will be a hurricane but you can't really predict the weather. And it's incredibly possible that if there is a hurricane, Orlando will touch some effects simply because Florida so narrow.

Going to Disney Land contained by August is going to be miserable. My sister took her family surrounded by April and she said it was already so hot down in attendance, the kids complained and they didn't have such a great time.

And the crowd will be huge because it's properly summer and that's when most people hold their summer vacations - merely before college starts up again.

Good luck!
ya august isnt the best time to budge there are hurricanes contained by the summer but that shouldnt stop u verry unlikely that one will come when ur there. it is hot but shouldnt seize hotter than 90 which is hot but could be as low as75 or so its not to bad, shorts and t-shirt. the crowds are busy but prob nothing longer than an hour wait for rides but if u can fiddle with the temp go on the rides that are hot when its hot and it shouldnt be as busy and dont drink at lunch time eat any early or a few hours tardy.
August through November is Hurricane season, so i would prepared for the threat of possible storms.

August will be extremeley hot and humid, so be prepared to wear reservoir tops, shorts and flip flops. The heat can become excruciatingly hot, but an afternoon storm should cool it down a bit. Then it will take hot again. There are plenty of places to go to cool down. Most of the rides are nouns conditioned or if you're waiting outside, they'll have fan spraying water over you.

The crowds will probably be hulking since most families travel on vacation during August/September. I usually suggest going during the spring or winter when it's smaller quantity hot.

Have fun!
Not a great time for hurricane season - your right in the middle of it. We've other tried to go surrounded by November. Temperatures will be in the giant 80's - low 90's and very humid. Crowds are other bad unless you are going within the off season. We can't stand waiting surrounded by line so build sure you do the fast outdo if you go on any of the big rides.
First of adjectives id close to to say DAMN, your staying 8 days surrounded by Disney(LUCKYYY)
as for your question im not too sure because ive never be there contained by the summer but overall i dont think that orlando is that humind of a place and for the hurricanes...i dont consider you should worry in the order of thatt.
resourcefully usually during holidays and breaks (summer, spring, winter) is when the crowds are worst, the lines can be up to an hour for one ride.
it will be pretty hot and humid usually around 98...? but they are pretty good at keeping u cool, theres tons of dampen rides and they have those fan that spray water so you dont die of an over warmness.
and about the hurricanes very well you never know just pray that they wont come this year and youll be polite to go.
Hurricane season is June 1 - November 30. Most people of late don't seem to know that Hurricane season is in reality half of the year. August and September are the most busy months of the tropical season. In 2004, Orlando got three hurricanes contained by August and September. I'm not sure where some of the previous answerers get their information, but all Florida residents know when hurricane season is.

Orange county changed when college starts last year. It's no longer starting within early August. School doesn't start for Orange county school until August 18 this year. You will not miss the local crowd as one previous poster said.

With that out of the way, near is no way anyone can predict if within will be a hurricane this August. If everyone thought they shouldn't come while it was hurricane season, the matter parks would be empty adjectives summer long. That is not the case. Summer is congested with relatives because that is when arts school is out. Expect high temps - usually surrounded by the low - mid 90s with warmness indexes near or over 100. Humidity is drastically high. Thunderstorms are almost on a daily basis. It's miserable. The crowds are bad. If you aren't used to vastly hot sun and humidity, you are probably going to be miserable. Make sure you take plenty of breaks contained by the AC and drink lots of water. Also, nouns up on sunscreen and plan to take nap/swim breaks.
DO NOT come down in August! It's HOT and HUMID! I own a friend that insists on coming down then..I tried to put on alert him!

Best times are early March and rash December.early December close to 1st - 15th are also the cheapest.
Who are these culture telling you that August is not hurricane season? They must not live here. That happen to be well into the season which begin June 1 and ends November 30, but we have have storms later contained by the year. We here in Central FL be hit with 3 principal hurricanes in 2004 between August 13- September 28. Cruises are even cheaper this time of year because of the possibility of a storm.

August is hot & humid, but afternoon thunderstorms cool things sour. Best bet is to hit the parks when they open and thieve bottled water near you (you are allowed to take drinks into the park but not a cooler).

Sorry if I am ranting but those relatives who say August is not hurricane season did not enjoy two trees on their roof and no power for a total of 3 weeks in August/September 2004..
The worst time you can walk to Disneyland is during summer, go during winter approaching i did.

There was NO lines, i promise you this. Seriously, forget roughly speaking any hurricanes or whatever. The crowds are the ones that will gun down you, but if you go surrounded by Winter. It is SO much more manageable.
no there isnt going to be one its basically winter that days and now its spring i reflect the temp will be rising in a few days
Extrememly hot and humid hurricanes are possible, but usually surface later contained by the hurrican season. TONS of people. All the ending minute tourists before college starts, you can still make it fun though.
we do disney the last week within August just almost every year. Its the best time to go inflict the Florida schools are backbone in session. Way smaller number crowds there plus disney usually offer the free disney starting around that time. Weather is still hot but not unbearable. Go, the second week...its good.
^^^ agree ^^^
Well,

Disney In August, is the worst, because the roast, it usually get up to close to 101 sometimes. The Crowds are horrible, anytime, we went within JANUARY, and we waited surrounded by line for a long long time. And Hurricane season, Is anytime, so be expecting those. But I live within Michigan so it was nice to escape the snow.

:DmooseTheIncredible
we usually get for a while bit windy during august but its still really hot and humid but anytime during the year itd be like. as for hurricanes theres no way to give an account by now. it could take place or it could not. the crowds are always desperate but u can get the fastpass and skip most lines, also thats the week b4 kids start academy so it shouldnt be THAT crowded.. so just walk and have fun i recomend going to the waterparks that channel u dont feel the warmth and if u dont then i recommend u buy one of those fan that u can put water contained by for each individual in ur line cuz when ur stuck in file the only piece ur thinkin about is "why didnt i buy those fan!"
August isn't contained by the hurricane season, so not likely to be artificial. You'll be fine with the weather - but it will be REALLY hot. be paid sure you drink lots and lots of water.

And yes - it's the summer holidays so it will be really really busy. Both times I hold been it have been out of season - February and October, and it's be really busy then, so I can solitary imagine what it would be resembling in the holidays.

Have fun!
