Going to Indianapolis for the first time...stipulation some info?
1)How Long is it going to take to acquire from New Orleans to Indianaoplios(sp?)
2)How far are the great Lakes from Indianaopliois
3) We are going to Indianaoplios to visit kinfolk mainly but what are some interesting things to do in that?
4)We havent Decieded how long where staying but when we resign from we are stoping and staying in memphis for one dark and then going here to spend time with famiy and sightsee plus drive hindmost to New Orleans.we also want to see the greatlakes and such..will a 11 days including travel be enough

2) I go to the Indiana Dunes every twelve months. To get to Lake Michigan it's something like 2.5- 3 hours. But definately worth going.
3) Definately check out the IMA (Indianapolis Museum of Art). IT's newly remodeled and have some great art. Walking around the Lily house and gardens is very nice as all right. If you're looking for a hot spot at night (especially on weekends) Broadripple or Downtown is the place to be
4) I have an idea that eleven days is plenty. If you end up running out of things to do, chek out indy.com, it may own further suggestions.

I in actuality drove from Indy to NOLA once and it seems close to it took around 12 or 13 hours. Stopping in Memphis is a great belief. Downtown Memphis is very cool. Plus, you can check out Graceland merely to say you did.
Indianapolis is almost three hours from Lake Michigan. That is the closest of the Great Lakes. You will be right subsequent to Chicago, which you should check out if you have never be.
Downtown Indianapolis is beautiful. The Circle Center Mall is nice.

The travel time is give or take a few right, but if you're with household it may take a bit longer for meal, pitstops or tourist stops. I've put some links below to give you some philosophy about things to do.

Things to do - check out the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where the Indy 500 is run. During the month of May, practice and time trials help yourself to place and are fairly cheap to attend.
Nice parks system, obedient zoo, relatively new minor league baseball stadium.
