How diverse is the race/ethnicity contained by Las Vegas?
what are the race/ethnicity of the population in Vegas close to? and are ppl generally racist, right to be heard, towards asians or hispanics?
Answers:
I would voice this is a very diverse place. Live here.
WE HAVE ALL RACES IN LAS VEGAS, AND WE LOVE THEM ALL! WHAT WE HATE ARE PEOPLE THAT CAN'T DRIVE! SO COME ENJOY OUR CITY, LOSE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T WORRY ABOUT RACE, THERE ARE MORE IMPORTANT THINGS IN LIFE! (LIKE PLAYING GOLF) HAVE FUN AND STAY OUT OF TROUBLE!
very diverse city, just about 60% white, 20% asian, 10% black, 10% latino, but Las Vegas is very segregate city, and the showing business, gambling, hotels are controlled by white, you now and then see ads models from other race but white. They only entail asian gamblers spending money there.
a big melting pot
There are several many hispanics. I live in attendance and Im white and Im the minority.
vernyle doesnt know what she is talking almost. she prob is lying to get points.
Pretty darn diverse. Don't know almost the racist part.
mostly hispanics, from what ive see...
it's not especially diverse. i've lived here off and on since the mid 90s. it's mostly white. i'd say-so 70% 15% latino, 10% black, 4% asian and 1% other. if you drive through specific neighborhoods you'll see more of a specific race. distinctly chinatown or anywhere on spring mtn will have lots of asians, bonanza/eastern have lots of latinos and h&owens have a great deal of black folks. white people are everywhere else.
surrounded by the early mid 90s i be about 15 years old-fashioned and had one encounter next to someone who might have be a white supremacist... but since then, everything's be okay. i think next to the whole immigration controversy, lots of hispanics are catching more crap.
EDIT:
erica- you are a dumb broad. you're tellling me that you're a minority here within vegas? that there are more latinos here within vegas than there are white citizens? i suggest you search "las vegas demographics." coach yourself more before you run your mouth. i've be working in the social services corral in lv for a while very soon, in grad academy and studying about see, gender and class. i'm from the creek area and places resembling san francisco and berkeley are considered diverse. las vegas is not. open your eyes. while surrounded by a restaurant count and see how many folks of color are in in that. it is so very flowing for a white person to dance about their sunshine and not see race. for someone who have encountered racism, i am other looking for that one minority so that i don't feel alone. you hold no idea.
