How much does it cost to rent a stroller within Disney World?
We're on our way to disney and friends hold recommended to rent a stroller while we're there. We hold an umbrella stroller we were going to help yourself to along, but I heard that the strollers near were better. I'm on a tight budget, so how much do they cost per daylight?
Answers:
Stroller rentals cost (prices current as of April 2007):
At the subject parks:
Single or infant (newborn to 9 months) strollers: $10/day (no deposit)
Double strollers: $18/day (no deposit)
At Downtown Disney:
Single or infant (newborn to 9 months) strollers: $10/day (with $250 credit card imprint required for deposit); $8/day Length of Stay rental (limited quantity) Note: Double strollers are not available.
Reservations are not accepted. If you want to drop by more than one park in a given light of day, retain your stroller receipt and present it at the second park to attain another stroller at no additional cost.
Where do I find them?
At Magic Kingdom: contained by a new location (pictured at right), underneath the Main Street Railroad Station.
At Epcot: to the right at main park entrance. Also at International Gateway, to the vanished before entering park.
At Disney-MGM Studios: to the right after entering park, at Oscar's Super Service, located simply inside the Disney-MGM Studios gates (in what looks similar to a "gas station").
At Animal Kingdom: also to the right, after entering the park.
At Downtown Disney West Side Guest Relations, between Pleasure Island and AMC Theaters, below the West Side Tower. Note: Double strollers are not available.
At Downtown Disney Marketplace Guest Relations between Team Mickey and Arribas Brothers. Note: Double strollers are not available.
If you are on a budget after bring your own stroller. Yeah the ones in the park are cool but do you construe they are cool enough to spend $10 a daylight on? If its that big of a deal to your kid next pick a day where on earth you rent a stroller and then use yours for the other days.
The umbrella stroller will be great and easier to get around for you. Also, when you be in motion to any shows, you have to park them outside. When you enjoy your own stroller, it is sooo much easier to fiind in the group of hundreds.
Another note:
If you prepay for your days, they are cheaper. For example, I salaried for 2 days at the Magic Kingdom (used one day at hand and one at EPCOT) and paid $18 instead of $10 per afternoon.
I'd bring the umbrella stroller. its much cheaper, and honestly the disney strollers are nothing that special.
