I'm moving to NYC and am trying to figure out transportation option to get to my up to date workplace, located inside Two World Financial Center on Liberty Street near the WTC site. What are the closest subway stations around in attendance?

The Cortland St. (R, W) station is the closest but it's still a 4 block walk. Depending on your file you might stop at other stations, this map will show you:

Subway : A, C, 4, 5 (to Fulton St-Broadway-Nassau St)
NJ Path Station
Good luck for your current job contained by NYC
Broadway-Fulton-Nassau Station (currently open but undergo construction to become the much nicer Fulton Street Transit Center) -- A,C,2,3,4,5,J,M,Z lines
Cortlandt Street Station (currently CLOSED for construction and it'll be closed at least another year) -- R, W lines
Chambers Street/World Trade Center Station -- A,C,E,2,3 lines
World Trade Center Station on the PATH System -- Newark and Hoboken lines (note that your shortest possible commute may be from New Jersey)
Also tons of buses stop surrounded by that area.
