Palace Station Hotel surrounded by Vegas?
Hey everyone,
I am heading out to Vegas next weekend and I cashed within my credit card reward points to stay at the Palace Station Hotel. (I didn't have ample points for higher extremity places) Has anyone ever stayed there previously? What kind we find implicit there? I know that in attendance is a shuttle...where does it drop you stale? What is within walking distance from the shuttle drop-off?
This is my first time to Vegas and I am so excited!

I've stayed there a few times and never have a bad stay. The rooms are spacious, verbs and comfortable. The tower rooms, which I recommend upgrading to if you can, are even better and offer a prospect too. The buffet is good and gaming too. The property is located on Sahara Ave. about 1 mile from the Stratosphere casino/hotel at the bottom of the strip. A minicab is probably a better bet to go within. Rent a car is the best bet. Shuttles are UNRELIABLE. From nearby you have access to downtown, Fremont St. for "Old Las Vegas" and the Fremont St. Experience- not to be missed. Also, you enjoy a nice, LONG, ride up the strip, usually, where you can vista the all the casinos, or see the free outdoor shows, or even verbs into one and walk through and out onto the strip and simply casually put your foot around. There's MUCH to see and do, so have fun and well brought-up luck. Check out the websites below too.
Not the sexist hotel in vegas but if you used your points later i think it is definitly worth it.

The Palace Station is a bit away from the other casinos, but not too far. It's across the I-15 freeway from the northern part of The Strip.
Unlike some others who hold posted answers, I advise against a rental vehicle except for trips to other parts of the valley besides The Strip. I formerly lived within Las Vegas and took visitors to The Strip. Traffic can be horrible at times and you will spend foolishly a lot of time walking to parking garages, driving your vehicle a few blocks, and looking for another parking garage. Use a taxi or the hotel shuttle to acquire to The Strip. Then, you can walk or, for longer distances, use the trolley that runs up and down Las Vegas Blvd. You can take information about the trolley at www.striptrolley.com.

Been in that many times really nice place. you will enjoy it and you will involve a shuttle, rent a car or black cab to the stip. long walk concrete long.
Palace Station is a really nice place. I have stayed in attendance many times and loved it. They enjoy an airport shuttle that is free and a strip shuttle. It too is free. The strip shuttle alternates drop rotten and pick up at two locations on the strip. The first is the Tropicana and the second is the Fashion Show Mall. That give you two great locations to instigate any of your strip adventures. Go to www.palacestation.com and on the main page on the disappeared hand side you will find a knit for shuttle to the strip and airport. Click on here and it will show you the schedule. Make sure you pick up a programme on the shuttle because there are convinced times it does not run. Hey ... it's free ... pretty good promise.

theres a map of the palace station shuttle. you can entrap the deuce bus right at fashion show precinct... the duece costs 2 dollars a ride, or 5 bucks for a 24 hour pass (thats what i get) and it runs adjectives along las vegas blvd, and to downtown.
cabs can get pretty pricey, and i'm not mature enough to rent a sports car yet ;) but who requests to drive in vegas anyway!
vegas is my favorite place ever, you're gonna hold so much fun!! :)
