Where would be the best division of the USA for me to live?I'm Scottish,white,32yrs antediluvian,hold wife+3 kids?
And I'm a writer,that is my profession.I will be moving to the States 2-3 years from immediately.Any suggestions?

i live surrounded by Connecticut and have adjectives my life its superb there is satisfactory of the city and the country its directly in between Boston and New York ( solely 2 hours away from each)but still is very tranquil There are 2 casinos here and it right on the coast so beaches are everywhere . CT is the home to the mystic aquarium , mystic seaport, foxwoods casino, mohegan sun casino, and masses various museums and parks

The answer depends on whether you want to live in a big city approaching New York, San Fracisco, Los Angeles,...or a quiet, calm area similar to Colorado, Oregon,... or near a fine beach next to many tourists resembling Miami...

it's sub-urban, about 20 minutes (at most) away from the shore. no one really discrimates against see or culture. i don't know how to describe it, but it's soooooooo pretty. esp, 'cause i love the ocean.
I agree beside nuevonew. It all depends on what you approaching. What kind of writing are you into? You may check into position opportunities very soon in your specific area, just to find your foot in the wet.
I am from the Midwest, west central Ohio, to be specific. I live around 600mi from NYC, 250 from Chicago, 30mi from Dayton, OH, & 90mi from Columbus, OH & Cincinnati, OH. I am close plenty to major cities that I can attain there no problem, but far satisfactory away to enjoy simple, small time life span. Our cost of living is decent & most school are good. We hold 4seasons, sometimes we go through most of them surrounded by 24hrs (start at 80* one afternoon & see flurries early the subsequent morning, on rare occasions).
Down south is also devout. Climate is better, but summers are brutal with grill & humidity.
If you can afford it, come & visit places you are interested within moving to. Talk to people & draw from a feel for the nouns. With our economy slowing down, you may enjoy your heart set on one place, but find out it may not be for you or your family. Good luck!!
