What are some affordable hotels?
Specifically, a chain throughout the North East? I'm looking for something smaller number than $100 per night that my friends and I can stay contained by when we go on our road trip this summer. Thanks!

Try the days inn, comfort inn, holiday inn express, howard johnson, country inn & suites, and la quinta. Those hotels and their affiliates are pretty affordable.
Motel 6 or Red Roof Inn are usually decent and verbs, but the prices vary. The Red Roof Inn close at hand me is usually under $50/night, but when the Pocono 500 comes to town the rate more than doubles.
