Right presently surrounded by NYC, looking for the nearest snow! Help pls!!?
Hello, right now i am on vacation in NYC, but woud close to to visit any city or place where on earth I can find snow for one or two days... It could be upstate or other state.
What would be the nearest spot where we can find it??

Well i live in the suburbs of NYC within Fairfield county connecticut.. and we have snow on the ground here. We ar eonly nearly a 45 min train ride out of the city.
If you are looking for somewhere where will be falling, you will enjoy to go track upstate in the mountains.
Well, Im in Rochester NY, and we hold lots and lots of it? We are about 3-4 hours from the city. Try Buffalo as powerfully, they get it discouraging there.Good luck!
I am also surrounded by upstate NY, we do have plenty of snow here, but we are further than 3-4 hours from NYC. I believe it is closer to 7.
You can gain an inexpensive flight and be here in one hour.

Anywhere within upstate NY and north of the shoreline in CT. Hurry though, because the precipitation may wash some of it away on Sunday (12/23).
Try heading out upstate a little bit. We haven't really gotten snow surrounded by the city (it's more like freezing rain), but if you jump about an hour or so North they've be getting lots of snow.
Syracuse or Albany. Plus its going to snow tonight so don't verbs.
