New Orleans Spring Break 2008?
I am traveling to New Orleans the 16-20th of March for a little getaway.how crowded is New Orleans beside the Spring Break crowd? I want sort of a peaceful trip.

That week it shouldnt be overly touristy. Its after Mardi Gras but previously FQ Fest and Jazz Fest. Its a nice time of year to visit weather perceptive. The nice thing something like New Orleans is even if Bourbon Street is packed here are many areas to escape to get hold of away from those crowds. I am sure you will have fun.
It shouldn't be bad .. since you'll miss the Mardi Gras tourists by a month

no fresh orleans isn't over crowded that week. but if you are not looking for a party be sure not to book yourself a room at one of the burbon st hotels. it is a bit boom to stay at those hotels. but i would recommend a hotel downtown just not on or in close proximity burbon st.
we dont really groove spring break here in New Orleans. Everyone usually travel, to the beach to see the hotties..
